Give players a reusable tuning device with clear controls and persistent vehicle settings. Built for Qbox, with QBCore and ESX support, Tuner Chip lets players adjust performance while parked in the driver seat.
Tune engine drive force, engine response, gear-change speed, brake strength, brake balance, and the drive split on factory AWD vehicles.
- Clear tuning interface: sliders, editable numeric values, and original-versus-tuned comparisons with percentage changes.
- Vehicle information: model, plate, original drivetrain, and a Permanent or Temporary status badge.
- Persistent owned-car tunes: saved settings return after garage retrieval and server restarts.
- Temporary tuning: unowned cars retain adjustments until the vehicle is deleted or the server/resource restarts.
- Factory drivetrain protection: original RWD and FWD layouts remain locked; factory AWD cars support drive-split adjustments.
- Reversible adjustments: local preview, Cancel/Escape rollback, and factory reset.
- Qbox plate-change protection: tunes follow stable vehicle IDs rather than relying solely on plate text.
- Automatic database maintenance: verified ownership cleanup removes obsolete records while retaining garaged vehicles.
- Configurable settings: adjust tuning limits, item requirements, exclusions, and interface colors.
Includes the reusable Tuner Chip item integration, inventory PNG, setup instructions, and automatic database creation/upgrading. Cached restoration avoids additional SQL queries during ordinary vehicle spawning.
Requirements: OneSync, ox_lib, oxmysql, and Qbox (qbx_core + qbx_vehicles), QBCore, or ESX. Supports ox_inventory and native QBCore/ESX inventories. Custom garages may require integration.
