Bring roadside assistance to your FiveM server with xtxvxtx-ai-mechanic, created by xtxvxtx.

Players can request an AI mechanic who arrives in a service truck, approaches their vehicle, opens the hood, and performs a repair animation before returning to the truck and driving away.

Features

  • Simple commands: /mechanic requests assistance; /mechaniccancel cancels an active call.
  • Road and foot approaches: road staging, driving recovery, and pedestrian pathfinding help the mechanic reach awkward locations.
  • Flexible repairs: choose engine-only repairs, full cosmetic repairs, or a mode that repairs directly from the truck.
  • Vehicle recovery: optionally place overturned vehicles back on their wheels.
  • Customizable crew: configure mechanic models, trucks, colours, company branding, and dialogue.
  • Notifications and tracking: configurable native notifications and mechanic blips.
  • Automatic cleanup: removes departing crews and cleans up when the resource stops.
  • Script integration: client events and exports for calling, cancelling, and checking service status.

Configuration and requirements

Editable config.lua provides control over commands, cooldowns, driving behaviour, repair timing, targeting, and cleanup.

Framework-independent design with no Qbox, QBCore, ESX, database, inventory, or additional library dependency. Service is free, with no job or duty restrictions.

Networked crews require server policies that permit client-spawned vehicles and peds. Access to difficult locations depends on GTA pathfinding and network control.
